Full Outrun Guarantee (FOG)

FOG is a risk reduction service where SGS guarantees 100% delivery of the bill of lading quantity. We limit shrinkage during transport by inspecting at both loading and discharge. If discrepancies occur in the final weight, SGS pays the difference. The cost for this service is based on the value of your load, with adjustments made for track record and for current market conditions.
Losses in fertilizer cargo weight represent real commercial risks to you. Cargo loses can unexpectedly shrink your financial bottom line. Protect your profit margin by passing your risk to SGS. Our full outrun guarantee ensures you will be compensated for any difference in weight between loading and discharge.

Comprehensive Coverage (CC)

Our CC includes the benefits of FOG, plus Institute Cargo Clause (A), at a lower overall premium than the purchase of each separately. Institute Cargo Clause (A), also referred to as ICC (A), is the most comprehensive marine insurance coverage available. It insures you against most losses including those due to:

• The vessel’s condition
  
• The voyage (contamination by sea water and other products)
  
• Handling operations during loading and discharge
  
• Wars, strikes and riots

Quality Risk Protection (QRP)

Our QRP guarantee ensures that you will be compensated for the difference between loading and discharge on weight and/or quality. In addition, SGS places the ICC (A) marine insurance for the vessel on your behalf, and takes care of all administrative matters. Costs are based on the value of the load, with adjustments made for track record and current market conditions.

Our QRP guarantee of quality and quantity is based on an SGS sample analysis at loading and discharge. Quality delivery parameters are set and monitored according to previously and mutually agreed arrangements. Our global reach and comprehensive inspection and testing services ensure that SGS can assist you with local QRP services globally.

Non Rejection Guarantee (NRG)

Non Rejection Guarantees by SGS cover the possibility of cargo being rejected at its destination as a result of predetermined conditions. Under an NRG agreement, SGS assumes the costs incurred as a result of rejection by an authority at destination. Our trusted NRG coverage is limited to a mutually agreed upon amount.
